Except there is a change of plan, former Delta state governor, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan would formally dump the All Progressive Congress, APC for the People’s Democratic Party, PDP this weekend, Sunreporters can authouritively report.
Dependable sources has told our correspondent that all is now set to receive the former governor and issue him PDP party card at Abigborodo ward this Sunday 27th September, 2020.
The source who pleaded to remain ananonymous also confided on our correspondent that the trio of Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa, Chief James Ibori and Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan would attend the Annual General Congress/seminar of the National Association of Resident Doctors, NARD holding at Delta State University Teaching Hospital, Oghara tomorrow, Thursday 24th September, 2020.
He noted that Uduaghan has never attended the same function with Gov. Okowa since the cold war between them for the past two years, hinted that Chief Ibori in a bid to build a stronger Party ahead of the 2023 elections alleged to have prevailed on Dr. Uduaghan to come to PDP with a firm promise to resolve the dual of Gov. Okowa and Dr. Uduaghan.
Investigations revealed that Uduaghan in his bid to respect Chief Ibori plea, met with Gov. Okowa recently where he expressed his displeasure and alleged plans by Gov. Okowa to humiliate him towards 2019 elections, hence he left the party to pursue his senatorial ambition.
Uduaghan after his unsuccessful senatorial ambition in 2019, made several efforts to get juicy appointment but yielded no results.
Major stakeholders in the PDP has hailed the move of Dr. Uduaghan to stage a come-back to PDP, the Party he co-founded.
