Following the alleged rumour of possible political realignment of fomer Delta State governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan, a Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP and Chairman, Delta State Capital Development Authority, Chief Ighoyota Amori has disclosed that the PDP family can’t wait to welcome Gov. Uduaghan back into the Party.

The former Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria disclosed this whIle speaking exclusively to our correspondent on Tuesday explained that although he has not heard directly from Gov. Uduaghan on his return to the party co-founded, hinted that the PDP family and particularly that Ibori political apostles can not wait to see him coming back home, just as he noted that Gov. Uduaghan is a senior member of the Party.
“First it is still speculative that our former Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan is returning to PDP, the party that he co-founded, nutured and appointed into several positions, first as a Commissioner for health, then SSG and finally elected as governor for eight years where he made his marks. One cannot really confirm the rumour untill i hear from Dr Uduaghan directly.
“But in any case,it is a welcome development and we the family he left behind are very enthusiastic to receiving him back to his political family. He will get a desired/deserving welcome. The PDP in Delta is a family and we have come a long way. Dr Uduaghan is senior member of the family.”
“We have no problem with him. Whatever the grievances, we are ready to put it behind and move on as members of Ibori political family. Dr. UDUAGHAN IS 100% welcome back to PDP as the HOLIDAY/VACATION IN APC IS OVER. THE RECEPTION PARTY IN WHATEVER FORM WILL BE SPLENDID.”
Chief Amori also stressed that Uduaghan only went on political vacation in APC, noted that the PDP he co-founded was ready to give him the desired welcome to enable him to continue to impact positively on the party and Delta at large.
On what would be Uduaghan political faith, if he finally decided to stage a come-back to the Party, Chief Amori posited that many politicians has left the Party across the nation and some also come back to their root after testing the other side, assured that Gov. Uduaghan’s case would not be an exception.
“Atiku, Saraki, Tambuwal, Orthom, others left PDP and later came back. They were well received. Uduaghan’s won’t be different if he chooses to return.”
On if unconfirmed cold between Gov. Okowa and Dr. Uduaghan among other grievances that made Uduaghan to exit the Party has been perfectly resolved, Chief Amori opined that whatsoever grievances that happened then should be overboard, appealed for a united family.
“ALL FORMER THINGS HAVE PASSED AWAY.”
It would be recalled that the media has been awash with reports of Gov. Uduaghan possible return to PDP, a development his media Assistant, Mr. Monoyo had since denied.
A dependable source in Delta Government House told our correspondent that Gov. Okowa had a close doors meeting with Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan on Friday, 11th September, 2020.
Our source also noted that Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan drove into Delta Government House with a Tundra V8 vehicle.
