Moses Taiga Best UPU President in 21st century---Omoko

President-General of Urhobo Progress Union, UPU worldwide, Olorogun Moses Oghenerume Taiga has been described as the UPU best President-General in recent time, following his vast experience, transparency and exposure.
Comr. Nicholas Omoko, the UPU National President Youth Wing made the remarks recently while fielding questions from journalists in PTI, Effurun-Delta State immediately after the plenary session as part of activities to mark the 2018 Urhobo Day celebration, explained that Olorogun Moses Oghenerume Taiga came to rescue UPU as at the time the apex socio-cultural group was in need of a purposeful leadership that would take Urhobos to greater height.

The UPU youth wing National President stressed further that Urhobos has not regretted since Moses Taiga has been sterling the ship of UPU, hinted that those who never mean well for Urhobo are still busy trying to cause crisis in Urhobo; averred that Urhobo youths are solidly behind Olorogun Moses Taiga UPU leadership, warning mischief makers to stop forthwith or be ready to face the wrath of Urhobo youths.

The Youth leader also commended Olorogun Moses Taiga for the successful 2018 Urhobo Annual National Day celebration, paid growing tributes to former Delta State governor and one of Urhobo illustrious sons, Chief James Onanefe Ibori (JP) for his constant support for Moses Taiga UPU leadership. And the executive governor of Delta State Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa for his continuous supports to the Urhobo course by the fencing and reconstruction of the Urhobo Cultural Centre, Uvwiamuge, Agbarho and appointment of Urhobo into strategic positions which has made them partners in his government.

Omoko however thanked all Urhobo sons and daughters both at home and in abroad for gracing the week-long event. It would be recalled that the 2018 Urhobo Day celebration started Friday 30th November, 3018 with a plenary session held at PTI conference center, Effurun-Delta State, and paying of homage by all the 24 kingdoms of Urhobo land and sisters ethnic group at Urhobo cultural Center, Uwianmuge, Agbarho on Saturday 1st November, 2018.
The 2018 Urhobo Day celebration was climaxed with a church thanksgiving service at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Okpare-Olomu on Sunday 2nd November, 2018 with prominent Urhobo sons and daughters including Mrs. (Dr) Cecilia Ibru, Prof Onigu Otite, Rt. Rev. B. A Erifeta bishop of Anglican Diocese Of Sapele and others were in attendance.
