Ibori also noted while addressing the dual of Emmanuel Uduaghan and James Manager that the Ijaw nation has gotten their fair share, appealed to Manager to allow other ethnic nationality represent the area, opined that Uduaghan amid his vast experience can man the position.

James Manager who subtly turned down Ibori plea during the discussion told Ibori that he would congratulate Uduaghan if he wins at the poll, opined that his party and people would not forgive him if he withdrew from the race.

Aghast by Ibori plea, Manager allegedly boasted after the conversation that he would match Uduaghan dollars for dollars and naira for naira at the poll, stressing that the former governor should come and test his popularity in the field not through subtle means of endorsement.
