Why Ibori may not celebrate 60th birthday

Sources close to former Delta State governor, Chief James Onanefe Ibori has gave reasons on why Ibori may not celebrate his 60th birthday, following the former governor’s political associates’ anxiety to storm Ibori residence to celebrate with him as he clocked 60.
Dependable sources who spoke to our correspondents on condition of anonymity hinted that the former governor has zeroed his mind on not to celebrate his 60th birthday.
The source spoke to our correspondent from Chief Ibori Banana Island residence stressed that the death of the former governor’s elder brother was some of the reasons why he decided not to celebrate the birthday.

A prominent politician from Delta State also told our correspondents that due to the political tense atmosphere in the country was another reason why he decided not to celebrate the birthday, reasons he gave as being careful as the 2019 general election draws near, a development many described as a wise decision in the right direction.
The source stressed that Ibori is currently in his Banana Island residence, receiving prominent political associates, family members, among others, but noted that the governor may host some prominent Nigerians to a low key reception later.

A visit by our correspondent to Chief Ibori residence in Oghara, observed that nothing was going on there, noted that he only noticed the presence of security men attached to the former governor.

Meanwhile, the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Emmanuel Uduaghan, former Transport Commissioner, Hon. Ben Igbakpa, Personal Assistant to National PDP Chairman, Chief Ighoyota Amori, former DESOPADEC commissioner, Henry Ofa,  the Chairman of Ethiope west Local government, Solomon Golley and Ethiope west PDP Chairman, Mr. Moses Onome Ojo has felicitated with the former Delta State governor, Chief James Onanefe Ibori, as he turns 60 years.
In their separate interviews and facebook posts described Chief James Ibori as a political pillar in Delta State and beyond, stressing that he is a man of few words.
The trio of Emmanuel Uduaghan, Ben Igbakpa and Moses Onome Ojo hinted that Chief Ibori life was specially programmed by God which can not be held back by anybody.
Uduaghan in his facebook post noted that words cannot be enough to described Ibori and his positive impact to humanity.
Igbakpa hinted that Ibori political lifestyle has taught him to be resolute in the face of political challenges.
Henry Ofa and Moses Onome Ojo extolled his leadership prowess, opined that Ibori leadership sagacity knew no bonds.
While praying to God to grant Chief Ibori long life and prosperity.
