ASUSS inaugurates Ethiope West Chapter

Academic Staff Union of Secondary School, ASUSS, Ethiope West Chapter has been inaugurated amid fun and excitement, with a charge to protect, project and promote the union in their domain, especially in their various Secondary Schools in the Local government.
The Delta State Chairman of ASUSS, Comr. Kenneth Okoh while inaugurating the body at Ighoyota Secondary School, Ugbokpa, Mosogar charged the Ethiope West executives of ASUSS to be ambassadors of the body, who are known to be fearless, allays fear of non recognition of the body by Delta State government.
Okoh stressed that ASUSS has recorded successes within the last couple of months, where Secondary Schools teachers deductions now go to ASUSS account, hinted that all entitlements of his members would be given to them when the need arises.
He assured them of better days ahead; thanked Delta State governor, Ifeanyi Okowa for giving ASUSS recognition in the State, noted that Okowa direct intervention between ASUSS and NUT face-off rekindles his hope that the governor is a Labour friendly government, appealed to his members to mobilized support towards Gov. Okowa re-election in the State.
Those inaugurated includes; Comr. Simeon Akpotaire (Chairman), Comr. Alimasuya Charles (Secretary), Mrs. Edah Emily (Treasurer), Comr. Umuemufo Joseph (Fin. Sec), Eduvie Charles (PRO), Obriki Peter Ufuoma (Dep. Chairman).
Others are Akpomuje Ken (1st Vice), Okoro Oghenero (2nd Vice), Oyaisi Peter (Social Secretary), Adagbonyin Mary (Ass. Secd.), Mrs. Lovina Agamgoro (Auditor 1), Ududu Umujiane (Auditor 2), Dr. Chukemeke Jonathan (Special Adviser), Dr. Mrs. Obogare (S.A) and Mrs. Akpomera (S.A) respectively.
