Igbakpa, Golley, Abutoh, Ighere, Omoko, Kparobo others bags CNN award

A Non Governmental Organization, Career Achievers Network of Nigeria, CNN has bestowed awards of excellence on deserving personalities in the society who has distinguished themselves in their various field of endeavors.

The immediate past commissioner of Transport, Delta State, Council Chairman of Ethiope west local government, Hon. Solomon Golley, Executive Assistant to Okowa, Prince Charles Abutoh, an NDDC engineer, Greg Ighere, UPU youth President-General, Nicholas Omoko, ace journalist and Online Publisher, Kparobo Ehvwubare were among those that were honoured at the weekend with award of excellence.

According to the Chief Executive Officer, Career Achievers Network of Nigeria, CNN Comr. Governor Erhiyovwe while addressing journalists at Oghara Hotels, venue of the award explained that his organization decided to honour the awardees because of good works in the society, haven peeping through the antecedents of the awardees, through various perimeters.

Comr. Governor hinted that his NGO would continue to honour those who has played pivotal roles in the society aimed at advancing the growth and development of the people, opined that labourers deserved rewards hence the award.
He charged the awardees to see the honour as a greater responsibilities on them, appeal to them not to relent in their oars.

For Ben Igbakpa, Charles Abutoh, Greg Ighere, Nicholas Omoko, Kparobo Ehvwubare in their separate interviews expressed appreciation to CNN for honouring them, promised to continue with their good works in the society that warranted the award.

Kparobo Ehvwubare who was honoured as the most outstanding Pressman of the year 2018 noted that he was surprised to be honoured, stressed that he never knew that the society were watching him with keen interest on his journalistic prowess aimed at advancing the course of human development.

Kparobo dedicated the award to his late father, Engr. Isaac Ehvwubare Onoghofor who despite his family background struggled to train him throughout his schooling days, which he described as the best legacy a father can give to his children. He added.
