Oghara residents commend management of St. Gere hospital over free medical checkup, low billings despite competent experts, edifying structures

Residents of Oghara, the home town of former Gov. James Ibori has commended the management of St. Gere’s hospital, situated at the heart of the town over the week long free medical checkup on patients who could not afford the high cost of some hospital billings in the area.

Speaking at the weekend, Mr. Sunday Okoro, Usman musa among other beneficiaries of the free medical care, extolled the benevolence qualities of the hospital management in their resolved to come to their rescue, just as he hinted that seeing edifying structure of the hospital coupled with medical experts working in the hospital, they were threatened that the hospital billings would be expensive.

Stressing that they were surprised to notice that the hospital billings was almost free, while expressing gratitude to the Director/founder of the hospital, praying to God to continue to bless him to enable him do more for the people and the society at large.

Our correspondent was conducted around the various clinics of the hospital by the hospital admin., officer, Mr. Godstime Ehvwarieme which included the dialysis center, Accident and Emergency ward, CT center, laboratory, male/female ward, pharmacy, private wards, maternity/incubator ward among others.

The hospital admin., officer explained that the hospital was built to ameliorate the suffering of those who could not afford to pay high cost of medical bills in the area, noted that despite the global standard of the hospital, it remain among the cheapest in the area, posited that the hospital was duly registered, averred that the process of registration with National Insurance Trust Fund, NITF is currently on its advanced stage. He noted.
